Concepción Vásquez, mujer Ayuujk de Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca, es Ingeniera en Desarrollo Comunitario y cineasta dedicada a visibilizar tradiciones y la lucha de las mujeres rurales. Fue reconocida con el premio de fotografía Día de Muertos y el galardón La Voz de las Mujeres de INMUJERES (2023). En 2022, con apoyo del ECAMC, realizó su primer documental Mujer de Barro, sobre la vida de su madre y su resistencia al machismo. La obra se estrenó en el Festival de Málaga (2025) y participó en One Country One Film, el Festival Santiago Álvarez in Memoriam, donde obtuvo Mejor Cortometraje y Mejor Ópera Prima, el International Ethnographic Film Festival Ilinden Days y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia. Actualmente desarrolla Kaptän, trabajo que habla sobre la vida comunitaria en Tlahuitoltepec.
