Estudió la licenciatura en Ingeniería Física Industrial en el Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), una maestría en Astronomía en el Instituto de Astronomía (IA) de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) y Cinematografía en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), en la Ciudad de México. Actualmente, cursa una maestría de Bellas Artes en Producción Cinematográfica en la Universidad Concordia, Montreal, Canadá. Su cortometraje documental El pintor de Verónicas (2012) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 10º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Esta obra participó, además, en el 2º Encuentro Internacional de Documentales de Artes ARTES.DOCS, Ciudad de México; en el 7° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de Uruguay ATLANTIDOC; en el 11° SKENA UP International & Students Film 6 Theatre Festival, Kosovo; y en el 6° Festival de Cine y Video Documental Zanate, Colima, México.
